Bill Clinton/Attorney General Meeting Constitutes Likely Obstruction of Justice

by Stephen Lendman

Presumptive Democrat party nominee Hillary Clinton is unfit to serve - a widely reviled, scandal-ridden, war criminal/racketeer, unindicted and unlikely to be charged despite high crimes too grave to ignore.

The FBI has indictable evidence, proving the Clinton Foundation (involving Hillary and husband Bill) is a money laundering, influencing peddling racket, posing as a charitable NGO.

Tens of millions of dollars donated by foreign governments, organizations and individuals went largely for self-enrichment, wealth stashed in tax havens.

The FBI only investigates. It doesn't indict, up to Obama's Justice Department headed by Attorney General Lynch, failing to act responsibly, ignoring what demands prosecution.

She owes her career advancement to the Clintons, their ties originating in the late 1990s, appointed US Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

From 2002 - 2010, she was a Washington-headquartered Hogan & Hartson (H & H) law firm partner. It represented the Clintons on tax matters.

During her 2008 presidential campaign, it was one of her largest legal industry contributors. It's hard imagining Lynch prosecuting a woman she's had close ties to for years.

On June 27, on the Phoenix, AZ tarmac, she and Bill Clinton met privately. Both parties claiming it was social defies credibility.

With the FBI having indictable evidence against Hillary and Bill for their criminal Clinton Foundation activities, more regarding Hillary's email scandal, any meeting, any time smacks of obstruction of justice.

Trump called the encounter "terrible…horrible…(more evidence of a) rigged system." Right-wing politicians and media blasted it.

Former GW Bush Attorney General Michael Mukasey said "(t)here are some things so elementary that you don't have to have a written rule" about them.

Bill Clinton and Lynch didn't encounter each other casually. Meeting each other was planned, not for social reasons. It's cause for Lynch to recuse herself from DOJ Hillary Clinton investigations, said Mukasey.

Law Professor Francis Boyle agreed, by email calling reports claiming Lynch will accept FBI findings on Hillary "(b)aloney!"

She "must formally and officially recuse herself from the entire matter and turn it over to the Deputy Attorney General and give the Deputy Attorney General the Powers of the Attorney General to deal with it," said Boyle.

"Lynch has…already (told) the FBI that Clinton is not to be indicted. She has to recuse herself." What's involved goes way beyond her email scandal, what media scoundrels don't explain - let alone major war crimes she remains unaccountable for.

Politico headlined "Democrats groan after Bill Clinton meets Loretta Lynch," saying some party members "are struggling to stomach" a former president meeting the attorney general while his wife is under investigation.

White House press secretary Josh Earnest deplorably made light of a major indiscretion at best, likely obstruction of justice at worst, saying:

"I wasn't there for the meeting, but the attorney general was, and she was asked a direct question about it, and she answered it. I think that is consistent with everybody's expectations."

Not by a long shot!! Trump is right about one thing. America's political system is rigged.
