Hot Air Balloon Festivals & The Science Behind Ionic Toothbrushes

Written by Subject: Techno Gadgets

They're huge, colorful, beautiful, and amazing to watch. Check out my latest video to see these festivals (and balloons) up close.

Most people haven't heard of ionic toothbrushes, but anyone who has tried one knows how wonderful they are. The basic idea is that everything in the body works via charged interactions, and the mouth is no different. Ionic toothbrushes capitalize on this idea by charging the teeth so that they repel plaque bacteria.

This video includes footage from two hot air balloon festivals that we attended. The one in North Carolina is one of the largest in the country, and the one in New Hampshire is one of the smallest. Each had its own attractions and events, but I think you'll agree that the hot air balloons are the stars of the show.

Ionic toothbrushes basically create an anti-bacterial force field around your teeth. The interaction between the brush, the saliva, the teeth, and the titanium rod result in supercharged teeth that no longer allow proteins or bacteria to stick to them.
